great rooms, ok service

A friend and I stayed here during a week's vacation on Koh Tao. We stayed in a newly built building on the property. The room was very big, clean, and spacious. The building was far enough away from the bars that it was pretty quiet at night while still being in the middle of the tourist area. The pool was great, and the free breakfast, although with limited selection, was very nice. The only poor point was the service of the hotel staff. When we asked them questions (was it possible to get a hair dryer in the room/could we book a taxi to the pier) they were short and not very helpful. Overall, this is a nice place to stay, but don't expect the staff to go out of their way to help you.
