This resort has a beautiful beach setting in a very quiet part of Samui. The rooms are spacious, clean and all have a large outside sitting area. The beach is nice, but not the typical white sand with clear blue water like some of the other Samui beaches, but still a long, long clean sandy beach. For us the only 2 negatives to this resort were firstly the cost of food which is mostly western rather than Thai (although the buffet breakfast is lovely and has lots of choice). There are no local food places nearby the resort, only a 711 up the road. Secondly, due to the remote location of the resort you must pay 1000 Baht each way to and from the airport, which to us seemed like a very high price to pay to go to the resort. A luxurious resort like this should at the very least provide a free airport shuttle. So in addition to the airport shuttle cost, if you do want to visit any other places on the island...it will cost you as taxis did not appear keen to drive to this area.
