Potential but not delivering

I agree with other reviewers, this hotel is getting it wrong. From the moment we arrived to a crowded and hot reception it was not pleasant. When we finally checked in, it was only after we had to sign a badly copied double sided page of itemized hotel items should there be any damages. And there is the problem right there, it was like a frat hotel where they clearly expected roudy guests and its just about the money - not about providing a quality stay. There were mountain side room but I spend more to get an ocean view room - it worked out to about $250 AU per night was worth about $75!!. When we were shown our room it was like a donga on stilts next to the pool. It would have had ocean view but was more like a pool view room. The pool area looked lovely, and would have been with some classy music - but instead it was the same very loud tunes pumped out all day and night. poor air con. Room was a tiny hot box. Dont stay here, way better options elsewhere.
