Worst stay ever
Little background ::: Krabi was the last stop on our two week trip across Thailand and laos. It was by far the WORST hotel we stayed in compared not just to this trip but also all our prior stays. Reasons::
1) We has requested airport pickup just like all the other hotels. Upon arrival we were asked to pay for the transportation service fee and they would not charge it to the room. OK fine no big deal - we payed and then went to check in
2) during checkin the staff tried to charge us for extra bed. I mentioned that no extra bed is required and to take the one setup in the room out... they said oh it is part of the room ... SO WHY TRY TO CHARGE EXTRA?
3) the staff only gave us one key. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids so My husband went to request a second key and they made a big deal. We eventually got our key after getting the manager involved ( is that necessary?)
5)now we deicide to eat at there one restaurant - we ordered simple dishes (only fried food) and waiting an hour only to have my husband and my food arrive. It was 9pm and still NO FOOD came out for the kids. We asked and were THEN told that there is no more satay (the dish we ordered) so now our kids are starved and we find out an hour later that there is no more of the item we ordered. After involving management - suddenly the satay magically was out in 5 mins. ... UNACCEPTABLE
6) the owner of the restaurant was there but yet he didn’t take a penny off our bill for the big mess up ... once I mentioned to him.. the next day he did offer to give a voucher to eat at that restaurant again - This I did not accept as it required to eat at that one restaurant
7) the next night I was eating alone with my yr and half and 4 yr old kids and I had to go outside the resort... thanks to the bad service and the taste of the food and NOT being KID friendly
8) the rooms looks a lot nicer in the pictures. It is new and that is visible but the bed is of very poor quality. I ended up with a back
