We arrived after a long journey to our hotel, and the owner ushered us to a cheaper, more dodgy hotel right beside us without explanation, indicating that that was the room we booked. Upon arguing and demanding for the room we actually paid for, he said the hotel was overbooked even though we had a confirmed reservation on agoda, and showed him our booking. This left us stranded in Bangkok at midnight.
