Please read before staying there.
I'll point out my main issues to enlighten you, before you choose to stay here. It is far from centre of town,.a long sweaty walk, with little opportunity of getting a tuk-tuk or local bus, or motor cycle taxi. It's quiet there, but it's too difficult to get in and out of town. The hotel can offer overpriced taxi services, but it's steep and will be costly in the long run. Breakfast is not included and is priced at 100 baht ahead, pre book if you want it. It's dire. Microwave food. There is a family mart nearby and a reasonable restaurant next door, but best food options are in town. There is no lift in the hotel and after walking everywhere, last thing you need is another 4 flights to manage. Yes it's 2 star, but they could make a few adjustments to be so much better. Rooms are great, big, a few ants can be problematic, nice showers, hot water. Ok, lastly, the staff there are hugely ignorant as to any local information, so please ask elsewhere. They have no idea about anything and it proved painful and expensive following their bad information. Oh, there is no pool and nearest beach is a boat ride away or a songtael ride away. Good luck .
