The best place for peace and quiet on Samui

This was my third stay at Am Samui. The resort gets nicer all the time. The staff are wonderful, the quiet, tranquil remote locations is the best on the Island. The private beach is the best place to watch the sunset and wade around in the warm water. Even though Am Samui is located in the undeveloped part of the Island there are still 4-5 restaurants and 2-3 little shops with in walking distance. They rent mopeds so anywhere is reachable. I had a special diet and they were more than happy to cater to my special off-menu requests. They even did a special shopping trip and kept special food/drink options available for me during my stay.
The Family that runs the resort lives on site and takes special care to ensure all the guests needs are addressed. Am Samui is truly a special place. There are precious few left like this due to the overwhelming commercialism/mass tourism in so many other parts of the Island.
