Easy access to Laos immigration point

We stayed at this hotel as we needed to be at the Laos immigration point early the next day to join our cruise boat down the Mekong. The hotel at Chiang Kong was very pleasant, with a riverside setting. We eat in their restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious. The town is small but has some interesting temples and shops. If you need to be in this area to cross from Thailand to Laos this hotel is a good choice.

Just in front of the river
Beautiful view, get to see the monk in the early morning. Few steps from hotel can get restaurant, pub, etc. Free charter to the border!

Basic room, excellent view!
