Good,not fantastic

My boyfriend and I like to do stay cation and travel a fair bit. For this hotel, I do not feel welcome. 1) they did not respond to my queries prior to my arrival despite me asking them via Agoda and email directly 2) i think they did not make an effort to arrange for our special request upon booking. Ie high floor, big bed etc. Is only upon checkin, the reception look at our booking and commented we requested for those and they are not able to provide. For other hotels that we visited, those requests were well noted and they will automatically inform us if they can provide or not.
Good points are: 1) bed is very comfortable 2) free buggy service to nearest bts despite the inconvenience of the location 3) very near drinking places for those who like pub hopping. They are just a few streets away 5-10mins walk.
