I have stayed here several times. They have a pleasant restaurant that serves Thai and Western food, and a really good American breakfast. The travel agent is my favorite in Bangkok; she speaks good English and she knows all the best places to go, and the best ways to get there. Rooms are clean and reasonably priced. No elevator, so if stairs bother you, ask for a lower floor room (there are four floors, as I recall). The location is excellent, not far from the hustle and bustle of touristy Khao San Road, but on a quieter street that still has pretty much everything you could want: good restaurants; massage; shopping; currency exchange; and so on. Book early, they are often full, especially on weekends and holidays.
