DISAPPOINTING, DISGUSTINGLY UNCLEAN, MOULDY...
Our stay at the Armonia Village Resort & Spa was very disappointing. Here is why:
1. It is not a 3-star hotel! To me, it has no star at all.
2. The spa...Wait a minute, there is no spa! There are 2, non-decorated, massage rooms, with pillows that smell mouldy, no nice aromatherapy smell, no music, just dusty curtains. The hotel can call a near by massage parlor to send a therapist to give you a poor, expensive (same price as in Bangkok!) massage with an oil that smells really bad. Even baby oil would be better!
3. The rooms: Ok, there are big, but there's no effort put in the decoration. Not even a pretty lamp (just ugly WHITE lamp bulbs the same as you find in hospitals!!). No cushions on the sofa, nothing.
4. Cleanliness: Well, if you like your bedsheets/towels to have MOULD & stains, that place is for you. Oh and did I mention that every single curtain had spider cocoons in them? Yes, every single one!!!! The sofa smelt mouldy as well.
5. The food: Some reviews mentioned that the food was good. I can't comment for lunch or dinner, but breakfast was disappointing for the price: bottled juice, fruits, white bread, disgusting ham. Honestly, for the price, it is not worth it!
6. The staff: I'm sure they mean well, but for a 3-star hotel, I was expecting better service. When I mentioned, to the manager, that we did not have a pleasant stay, and all the problems encountered, his response was "thank you". When you represent a "3-star" hotel & you have a disappointing client in front of you, you swallow your pride & you apologise!!!
The one thing is that it is not too far from the beach!
