Felt more hostel than guesthouse
I feel a little bad as there have been some great reviews on here which is why we chose this hotel/guesthouse but I have to say, we did not get the same experience and were a little disappointed. We have been travelling through Asia for 5 months and for what we paid for this room, I was a little shocked. Maybe it's because of the area it drives the prices up, but i personally did not feel it was worth that. The 'double bed's is too singles pushed together, with a big difference between the height on both. The sheets just looked dirty and did not feel/smell clean. The air con can not keep the size of the room cool, or maybe it needed fixing - not sure. The floorboards - well!! If I had been staying underneath our room I would have demanded to be moved or money back. We couldn't even tip toe without each one making a racquet which then made the wardrobe shake to the point it felt like it would go over. Shower was poor. It was like a bad motel from a bad American horror movie.
