August in Krabi for a family of four
Aesthetically the hotel looks good but when you see the rooms it is a bit dated and rusty.
The bathroom did not have any hooks to hold bath towels which was just odd. The hooks to hold the towels were damaged and not fixed.
The bathroom is big but design is just not fit for use.
The hotel description suggested we’d get an iPad in the room to help guide us around the hotel and local area but this wasn’t included and we never really questioned it as assumed they didn’t have them in stock but still, not provided a service per description which is misleading. The beds were comfortable and the only noise we could hear at night was the gushing wind of the ocean. The volume of the local bars were
not significantly disturbing
from where our room was located facing the beach.
The pool looked good but pretty bare.
The toilets for the swimmer are not very nice compared the the standards of the hotel.
The breakfast looked hygienic but beware of the exotic fruit as a rambutan was bad when I bit in to it and caused me and my son a very bad stomach and sickness.
When you leave, someone scans your room to ensure you haven’t taken anything like the alcohol which they place (handsomely) in the room.
