Recommended!!

Montalay staff was very friendly and professional. The only thing is that they have an irrational expectation that it is reasonable to ask customers to wait 1 1/2 hours for a taxi. Taxi drivers are given deferential treatment...even though they charge outrageous prices (should not pay more than 120 BTH for any trip). I got bitch at by the receptionist for being 7 minutes late for the taxi. The chef was excellent. I didn't even want to eat anywhere else. I wish Montalay staff would pick up garbage and cigarette butts off the beach. I also wish there was a telephone in the room. You have to walk to reception for all issues.

Everything was great apart from the cleanliness of the room.

Clean Bungalow, Great Breakfast, Quiet Location
