Poor

Pros: Large room with good size beds (standard twin bungalow); powerful oscillating wall fan; nice backdrop of mountains; pretty pool area; free 2 bottles of water provided daily; close to bars/restaurants. Cons: cleanliness of rooms wasn’t great (the floor appeared dusty from day one and towels weren’t always changed when requested); dingy, smelly wet room for a bathroom with poor drainage so floor was a paddling pool after each shower, plus low bathroom door archway which I smacked my head on; frosty check in with unforeseen 1000baht deposit for key; very limited sun loungers around pool area; restaurant hygiene was questionable (tables, menus and plates seemed dirty, but this seems standard for all restaurants in Railay). WARNING: hygiene is very poor in Railay in general. We both got sick and I strongly advise you only eat in one of the 5 star hotel restaurants. My whole week here was ruined through illness.

Motel on the water.

Resort is remote and Travelling to and fro is difficult. Reception not friendly. Don't expect more
