Exclusive, well-equipped villas with great pool

We stayed four nights between X-mas and New Years. It was fully booked most of the time but we still felt it was very private and exclusive. We stayed in a Garden Villa.

Best parts:
- Room is very large and well-equipped. You have a computer, kitchen, minibar, washing machine (but no drier), TV and DVD player, lots of couches and chairs.
- The private pool is absolutely superb. Plus you have a jacuzzi and excellent outdoor shower. Just brilliant.
- The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning (you order what you want) and really nice. The food options are extensive, although not everything may be available (eg, different juices).
- The place looks absolutely amazing when it is lit up at night. You feel like you are in your own private temple!
- The staff are very attentive and helpful. Really sweet.
- We enjoyed a free yoga course, which was very nice.

Improvement areas:
- It is not cheap, though we were there during high season.
- The gym area is not really developed. It's just a few cardio machines in a corner. My guess is, since the place is new, they will be investing in a bigger gym / spa area in the future.
- It can be a bit difficult to find from the main (ring) road from the airport. It should be clearly signposted at the turnoff from the ring road
- The cocktails could be improved. My wife had a bloody mary which she didn't really like.

Other comments:
- The restaurant was quiet, very romantic, and good value for tasty food. We ordered Thai food only, just one night.
- It is very close to the main walking road. Just go down to the beach, take a left, and walk a little while until you come to a grassy area where you can meet the road (near Will Wait restaurant). Or you can trespass through the neighboring Aloha hotel!
- At first, I found the decor a bit garish and overdone. However, after spending some time there, I came to like it. After seeing many other places in Lamai, this was definitely the classiest and most exclusive.
