Decent hotel with mostly great staff

On the first day our room smelled horribly like an ashtray. I requested a new room and the chief receptionist, Sulai, located another room. We went to see it with Sulai and another receptionist. It smelled strong of perfumed spray and I asked if they did that to cover the smell of cigarettes. The other receptionist yelled at me in Thai and stormed back to the elevator presumably insulting us. I told Sulai we would look for a new hotel bc the girl was so rude but Sulai assured us there would be no problems and if there were she would take care of them. She was right. We enjoyed our stay. The bathrooms could be painted and tile grouted bc they do appear dirty even if the staff diligently cleans them. All of the other staff besides the one receptionist were excellent with Sulai showing superb Thai hospitality.

Ok if you not mind the roaches

worst stay ever

There are better choices out there.
