Lovely staff, unreliable generator

The air con didn't produce cold air and the fan struggled through the heat of the day because the generator only kicked in at full power at 6pm.
Our room was comfortable, with a couple of chairs on the verandah to enjoy the view of the river. The tv only received 3 local thai channels and wasn't worth turning on. The computer wasn't available, probably because of the electricity problem.
Meals were good, and tea and coffee were available all day for free. The beach directly in front of the resort was well groomed and the rubbish removed promptly, though the stretches of sand either side of the resort were disgusting.

Never again hotel

Good resort but remote from action on island.
Ideal for total relaxation and chilling out. Worst feature is the dirt track you need to navigate from road to resort. You need to be stunt rider to acces on motorbike
