Wonderful. Calm, peaceful and relaxing
We chose this resort as it looked great and has a no kids policy. With just 8 private villa's, my wife and I had a truly quiet and peaceful eight days there. The pool is great and the location of the resort and pool on a small hill means there was usually a nice breeze to cool things down. Views were long and unobstructed and with basically no other structures to be seen, the views could be appreciated. Paul, Bo and Caroline the resort owners were amazing hosts and went out of their way to make us welcome and gave us good insights into local tours, but also we were left alone as well with no intrustions. The balance they achieved was spot on. We also had two incredibly enjoyable BBQ's at the resort, which will long be remembered. We hired a scooter from the resort and it was in great condition and safe and they also had high qualuty helmets for us. From the resort, you can easily access the close local markets and stock up on food and provisions so you can enjoy leisurely breakfasts on the private balcony. We found the resort perfect for our needs, it was clean, spacious and very well managed. If you like peace and quiet, friendly management and owners and a beautiful location, within easy reach of beaches and restaurants by scooter then Leelawadee Garden Resort is the place for you. We definitely plan to return as coming from Hong Kong, we found the tranquility and quiet very appealing and a great change from the large, commercial hotels that we are all more used to staying in. We had a wonderful time and left with heavy hearts to return to HK. We will go back!
