Quiet little resort, near the National Park

Arriving we found the resort was overbooked. The owner "upgraded us to the honeymoon suite", which was one of the older styled treehouses. Turned out to be very pleasant away from the newer bungalows. Did several tours with the guide who was amusing and informative, but didn't see any wildlife during our trek. The resort is work in progress but has potential. The staff were helpful with varying degrees of speaking English. Breakfasts were pretty basic but it is not a 4 star resort. Some great restaurants within walking distance and a great cooking school run by a lady called Spiderwoman! We ended up leaving a day early as the weather was unbearably hot and no pool to cool off in. The young driver from there took us out a couple of times and drove us to Khao Lak, lovely young man. He even bought us cold drinks and sweets along the way out of his own pocket. Definitely worth a tip. A good experience overall.

Set the right expectations and it is a great hotel

Good Value and enjoyable and relaxing stay

Good location and comfortable.
