The bungalow was very simple, don't expect luxury. But we we're right on the beach, practically in the sand. Right outside the bungalow was the Thaimout and Pirates bars/restaurants, as well as a few others just next door. There were plenty of stores to get water and accessories, laundry, massage, booze, all right there. Location wise, for the nightlife, was in the middle of all the action, great location on Koh Lanta for going out late. And in the day, its a 30 second walk to the beach or bar. The bungalow itself was very basic, but for a budget, all I needed. There was just one outlet, so we took turns charging stuff, at at night used the outlet for the fan. The toilet was super basic, just a bowl and you had to put your toilet paper in the bin and use a bucket to pour water in the bowl to "flush", and the water in the shower was cool/lukewarm, but worked. I'll take it, if it means a bungalow on the beach. And as a budget traveler, this was fine. Other reviewers have a problem with this, but if you want a piping hot, modern shower with all the trimmings, go to the other night bungalows. I shared with a fellow traveler so in USD, If that means a bit of a rustic shower and toilet, works for me. Overall, great deal for the money, the staff was helpful, and the surroundings were perfect!
