Now, this is no high budget hotel, but then again, considering the price, it's not claiming to be. The location is prime, in the middle of the old city a stone's throw away from all the temples you'd ever want to visit, good, cheap food and a nice Yoga studio (for those who are interested). The owner is a very nice elderly man, he let me check in early and helped me when a trekking pickup didn't arrive in time, why anybody here on agoda would describe him as rude is beyond me, he was perfectly nice. The rooms are big, have a giant Fridge in them and they are absolutely spotlessly clean. Warm water at all hours, and even a wee bancony to dry clothing etc. The whole hotel seems very safe, the only entrance is either "guarded" by the owner or locked with a NFC system in addition to the room locks. There are no safety deposit boxes in the rooms however, I recommend getting a travelsafe (makes sense for most travellers anyway). I can absolutely recommend this hotel. Even if the price was double than what I actually payed I'd stay here again, it's that good.
