Short of Exceptional

It is a good hotel by any measure. However, there were frays and loose ends that had to be tidied up if it were to live up to its own lofty aspirations. Certain facilities needed better/ maintenance (e.g., clogged shower room at the pool, broken handle at the spa sauna etc., malfunctioning safe in the room). To their credit - the staff were uniformly exceptional.
