Sufficiently practical

This was the 2nd time we stayed here. The art on the walls was even more hysterical than the first time, but the staff was still as friendly and the Thai food in the restaurant was also still great. The elevator they were installing last Christmas now works like a charm, which is a good alternative to hauling your suitcases up the enormous stairs in the center of the lobby. The rooms are large, but not as clean as the first time. There were also mosquitos and ants, not in great numbers but still a tiny little bit annoying. Hot shower, no hot tap water (for shaving). The small mini bar switches off together with the electricity when you leave the room. Something to keep in mind when you stay for a few days and want to keep some food for yourself.
There are a few small swimmingpools, great for little children. They are on the nearby campsite on the same premises, so you'll have to do some walking.
Not a bad choice if you're travelling to Isan, would come back here anytime if needed.

Great hotel for on the road

Strange Place
