Location Great but Rooms Need an refresh

Mosquitoes in room...killed dozens in 3 nights. Blood stains on walls where previous guests had killed mosquitoes. Also some remnants of dead mozzies on walls and floors.
Bidet sprayer leaking...would turn off every day only to have cleaning staff turn on and soak floor by time I returned. Bidet sprayer was so hard to press spray handle that it was unusable for most people. Spray was unregulated and came out in surges with 1000 PSI.
Wall sconce lamp over bed not working. Lighting in room inadequate.
hotel was Ok...but careless maintenance made it a wash. Would not stay again. Staff was pleasant and efficient but management needs to inspect the rooms and a fresh coat of paint is needed.
One thing of note...when I checked out....desk took the key without ever inspecting the room. i could have trashed the place or made off with everything in it...lackadaisical approach is why rooms are unkempt.

Very pleasant, just what I required, no frills.
