Perfect location
Excellent stay however the price is too high. I would try another hotel further up the beach next time. Staff very good and you could communicate with them reasonably well. Massage cost far too high compared to what you can get outside. Food can be a bit expensive so we eat mainly outside on the many restaurants along the main road, better value.
The hotel relies on an on site package treatment plant with final effluent entering an oxidation pond which has an odour not pleasant if you have a room close to the lagoon. Most guests think the pool is a nice addition with the paddle wheels churning the water and the fish swimming around. No it's not nice but essential. The effluent is released overnight to the sea. I guess my engineering background could have helped, the package treatment plant is overloaded and probably not maintained.
Breakfast is excellent, rules about putting towels out and reserving seats along the beach were followed by most guests the exceptions were only a few who enoy you and you are tempted to chuck their towels into the effluent lagoon. Nice stay, but been there done that. R Hall Australia
