Pailyn Hotel

The Pailyn is way out in the country and a very large complex. Some reviews have mentioned the noise, but even with 4 big groups descending upon the hotel, I never heard a thing. If you need the hotel's shuttle service, it is expensive to get to Phitsanulok. The pool is lovely and clean in the center of one of the hotel's pods. Good for a short stay, since there is very little around it for a farang to do after renting a bicycle to peddle around the park. Many language barriers, not much English spoken by anybody, so one has to be patient and forbearing to make your wishes understood. Preechan the bellman has the best English there and we had to have him come over to smooth out a tangled language mess at the front desk.
