OK for 1 night stay

Pailyn is a large older style hotel comprising 2 accommodation blocks and a central lobby, atrium, etc - only 1 of the accommodations blocks with 105 rooms appeared to be operational and the general condition of the building and grounds indicated minimum maintenance. Only 1 of 2 lifts were operational and the interior of the operating lift looked like a much used goods lift - the lift was restricted to max 5 people.
The hotel was easy to find and was well located alongside the main road between New Sukhothai and the Sukhothai Historical Park.
The room was a good size with a new air-conditioner but the mattress was pretty uncomfortable. The shower was over a very high bath and not easy to get into for someone who was elderly with a knee problem - also there was nothing to hang onto to avoid a fall.
WiFi was restricted to the lobby which these days is somewhat of a drawback.

Huge hotel near the historical park
The room was big and very comfortable. The TV had few channels. New shower,huge car park. Main drawback is the area has few night time options.

Dirty and need major renovation ASAP

Old, dated hotel - functional but not very good.
