Pretty ok but avoid the pool

Pros: Good value Interesting location free shuttle to the beach free water bottles every day super efficient maids not in noisy Patong Very nice view at breakfast mini fridge
Cons: The swimming pool is pretty icky.. I don't think they treat the water at all, doesn't smell like chemicals or anything. My toddler couldn't resist sticking his tongue in the water while he was swimming, which we believe is how he caught a stomach bug that eventually led to him being hospitalized for dehydration. We avoided the pool after that. Also, my husband cut his toe in the pool and there were no bandaids on site. Sometimes the water in the room stops working, but I think that might just be a normal thing in that jungle location.
Summary:We mostly enjoyed our stay, and the staff were all kind, and helpful. But if you're a family with young children who really wants to spend time in the pool, save yourself the risk and choose a more reputable hotel.

Shame
For what it cost, it’s good value. Don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed. Such a shame, I bet it was beautiful in its hey day.
