Amazing ambience shame about food

The hotel and gardens are stunning and staff excellent. Definitely 5 star+ and so beautiful on the river. It really takes the breath away. Shame that the food didnt meet the same standards. I got the feeling they tried hard with the food but not quite got the kitchen skill.
