Very nice upmarket stay
Stayed with a friend in a twin room for three nights as a little bit of luxury. Impeccable staff always on hand to help, good location but there wasn't much going on and not a huge choice of restaurants - this was in low season though and a lot of places seemed closed for renovations so maybe will be better in future. If you want bustling atmosphere and lots of activities this isn't the place for you, but for couples and total poolside relaxation it's great. There are free taxis to the beach clubs, Catch, HQ and Palm seaside, which is useful but I found them pricey. Nice for a treat though I wouldn't want to go every night. The room was beautiful with a lovely bathroom and cleaned spotlessly each night. Great gym and pool, and a beach butler to take you to Surin beach - nice but big waves so we couldn't really swim, again this was probably due to the low season. All in all a lovely stay, seemed good value for money but was a luxury for us. Didn't have breakfast or food so can't comment, but on one day they did put a Thai fruit buffet on as it had been raining, and we appreciated this little extra touch! Thank you.
