Spartan rooms, noisy area

I wish I could say nicer things about Breeze of Pai. It's really no better than adequate. My room was Spartan (I was given a room although I really thought I paid for a bungalow and I heard lower prices quoted for rooms than what I paid). Very bare, very basic, but fairly large. Folks who ran the place certainly weren't unfriendly, but they weren't exactly hands-on either. They did the minimum. But the real issue for me was the location. Many will find it handy but it's a lively area and there's a club with live music just down the lane, so I found it noisy at night (my neighbours were also loud). If you're a young person out for nightlife, great. But if you want to go to bed before midnight do yourself a favour and find a spot away from the main drag.
