One of the best luxury hotel experiences we've had

If you have the opportunity to go to Koh Lanta, we highly recommend you stay at the Layana Resort and Spa - you will not regret it. It has been the best luxury resort experience we've had in our many years of travel.

Bob and Margie, the owners, take great care in making sure every guest is happy and satisfied - they check in with everyone to make sure everything is great. You also see the pride of ownership they have, with things like cleaning the beach with the rest of their staff.

The pool experience is great - they'll bring water, fruit, cold towels, and there's a call button so you can request food/drinks. The food is excellent and fairly priced. And they have complimentary events like wine tasting, fruit carving class, and personal training available. Internet/wifi is free in-room, in the restaurants and poolside.
