Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff

Overall, this is a very nice place to stay. The staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

To be critical, the hotel is quite dark and the grounds, whilst beautifully maintained, tended to cramp you in a bit.

The main pool is not ideal for kids and if you have a push chair or stroller, be warned that you will need to carry it about 10m over the sand to get to the Fisherman's Village. You can go out the road way but it's not as nice a quite a bit further.

Also, be aware that Bophut beach is not clear water. There is nothing wrong with it but don't expect to be snorkelling off the beach, it is quite murky, fine for swimming but you aren't going to see anything.
