Wonderful resort in wonderful setting
this is a quintessential tropical resort - the property is wonderful, location perfect & staff excellent.
i rented 2 rooms 4 my family & all members thought the place magical.
however i had a bad fall off the pathway during a wet night as i just clndn't see the path. the lighting was pointing vertically into my eyes instead of horizontally to show the path & way forward. more pathway lighting is needed because with such wonderful landscaped gardens or as in the case of stepping stones, lighting is partly obscured. if u miss the path or stone it is easy 2 twist an ankle or fall.
as mentioned above, unless air con is on, room smelt dank & bedlinen damp. also flooding from shower/bath through window seals or bad design on basin side of bath/shower needs 2 be addressed.
overall, i have already recommended the property.....just loved it. the rooms (i can only vouch 4 ours of course) let the property down somewhat.
breakfast was great. lovely restaurant. we only had a light meal @ pool restaurant, but location idyllic, with the service to match the amazing views. cocktails were great. also nice to have coffee & tea making facilities in the room.
the intro free neck & shoulder massage welcomed & the spa property outstanding.
