When you arrive at the Zeavola, you are welcomed with a locally made juice and a fresh, cold lavendar towel and you know you have arrived in luxury. It is the attention to every little detail that makes the difference with this hotel. Their approach to a sustainable ecosystem is remarkable. They have desalination facilities to provide fresh water to the resort and have a biocycle system to ensure water is provided to the extensive gardens. They also have a comprehensive pest management system to ensure that your holiday is not spoiled by mosquitoes - we didn't feel one mozzie the whole stay. The other nice touch is the hotel supports the local Sea Gypsy school and every Friday takes a meal to the students and teachers, which guests are invited to join. The nightly turn down service ensures that your room is prepared for a relaxing sleep, and includes little gifts left on your pillow. The rooms are well appointed with a traditional feel, whilst not compromising on comfort or faciities. The breakfast buffet is comprehensive and caters to all tastes. We had the seafood buffet one evening which was a feast for the senses! The beanbags on the beach introduce a new style of sunbathing and very comfortable. The only downside is that there wasn't any background music despite a Bose speaker system on the beach and the drink service wasn't very efficient, although the drinks were quite overpriced. The pool area is very relaxing, but most people swim in the private beach area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and they couldn't do enough for you. We saw a wedding at the resort which was a treat as all the staff dressed in traditional dress and married the couple with traditional customs.
