A great budget hotel

I arrived at about 8:30 am and my first impression was not good but it improved afterwards. I entered a nice big lobby and noticed that it was very hot because the aircon wasn't on and it made me very warm standing there. The check in was quick because my room was already available and I didn't have to wait for the noon check in which was a relief. I was given a cold juice to drink and that was a nice touch to welcome me. The down side is that I had to carry my own bags cuz the bell boy wasn't around. I had used Agoda to purchase my 1st 2 nights there because I didn't want to purchase a week without knowing the hotel's quality. I was able to add 5 more nights at the front desk with no problem at 899baht per night matching Internet's price less a few baht. I guess it was the low season and they weren't fully booked. I was really happy with everything about my large studio room. Complimentary , a fruit tray and 2 water bottles are provided. The two water bottles in the fridge are NOT. My favorite amenities are the large bathtub and hot water and the cold aircon. This hotel seemed to think of everything even though this is a budget hotel. My room was cleaned and dirty towels replaced everyday. I noticed that after my check in, the lobby was always kept at a cool temperature . So that is no longer an issue. In the immediate areas are nice local shops, restaurants and massage parlors. I recommend the Lotus massage directly across from the Santiburi entrance. Very quiet and relaxing and the girls seem very professional. 250 baht for a traditional Thai massage. If there's a rainy day the hotel has many free DVDs to borrow.
