comfortable due to complimentary upgrade

As they were overbooked with a (very noisy) Chinese tour group, we got a complimentary upgrade to a pool villa. It was large, with high ceilings, and comfortable. The restaurants had limited menus and were quite small for such a large hotel. But, even then, few guests used them. There are lots of other restaurants in the area. Lamai is a sunrise beach with lots of broken coral and not suitable for swimming. We headed for the sunset side of the isand for better beaches each evening.
