Good value but can improve on cleanliness
The trip was overall very relaxing. The pool is big and clean. The room is big and comfy. The room is overall pretty clean just that the outdoor bathtub was dirty. I think that could be because nobody really uses it so the cleaning lady doesnt bother to clean it. We had to try to clean it ourselves. The bed and towels are very clean so that is good. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good selection of local food and western style breakfast. As for location, it can be good or bad depending on what you want. It is away from the city centre (i think the by taxi from the airport took a few hours) and right by the beach. Its quiet and serene. At night there is hardly any roadlights so after 8pm you are pretty much stuck at the resort. There is bus daily to a small town nearby where we had the best Thai food we had in the entire trip. A lot of big stray dogs around that might follow you around but they don't ever bark or attack so its fine. overall a nice experience but i would want to try another place next time.
