Aircon broken, no hot water, extra charged for children

Booked the tent for one night and was told upon arrival kids are "not allowed" to stay in the tents, need to upgrade to villa at a cost of extra 500 thai baht - and pay extra 700 thai Baht for extra bed ( we arrived with our 2 kids ages 6 and 8 - brought our own Matress).
The villa was overall nice with awesome balcony views of the lagoon. But aircon did not make it cold and hot shower was not possible. Water never became even warm. Complained the next morning as we discovered these issue late at night. Was not offered a reduction of price nor the extra costs waived.
Found out we were not allowed to stay in the tent as it was being renovated - I don't believe there is a rule against having children stay in the tent room.

Clean, well maintained, quiet
