OK hotel, but there are other choices.

Grand deluxe villa was tiny (approx 28 sqm), very old & tired furnishings. Resort location at the very end of Chaweng beach, not the best spot at Chaweng, especially since main strip of Chaweng was one way opposite resort location.
Staff helpful and friendly, with good offerings for hotel guests, includes half price and special deals on spa, buy one get one free shake, complimentary managers cocktails and canapés on Thursdays. Resort was adequate for budget traveller wanting some luxuries, or travellers on extended relaxing break, spending most time at the beach/ by the pool. Definitely not recommended for families, unless booking one of the family suites and hiring a jeep for entire stay.
Paid night extra for a junior suite, noting at least 3 other couples doing the same. Room was much newer and double in size, but still no baths. All junior suites are at the back of resort, attracting late night music from neighboring clubs/bar. Not quite expected as these are the more expensive room types in resort, which of course staff can do very little to help. Also little to no wifi signal in these rooms due to location.

Nice Hotel, Average beach, good location
