Wonderful Place & wonderful Hostfamily!
I enjoyed my stay at the Papai Country Lodge very much, because I felt at home with James (Phawit), Patchy (Phacharee), Duan (Wongduan) and the whole family and staff! I could totally relax in this wonderful villa with a very spacious bathroom (tub & extra shower), very good box spring beds, outdoor kitchen on terrasse, wifi, TV, aircon, fridge, etc. - the pool (saltwater) and garden area (mango, plumeria, palm, papaya,...) is in almost perfectly maintained condition - the best place to calm down and find peace after a stay in busy Chiang Mai. Since I was a single female traveller I enjoyed very much the warmth and more than friendly atmosphere with the Phuwasiri family! I definitely will come back with my friends & family! It's also a good place for day tours either by car, bike or motorcycle. James is showing you around. I really loved the profound & professional Thaimassage of Iyam (a friendly woman from the next village) on my terrasse and the invitation to the yearly temple celebration of the district/community (-; At the marvelous restaurant terrasse breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages are served. Quiet and peaceful place by the riverside, in the middle of papaya & bamboo & palm trees, ....thank you again for that wonderful stay at your resort - coming back soon! Gitta
