Average hotel would not classify it 4.5/5 stars though

This is my first ever review and normally don’t do reviews. 5 days stay. Overall the rooms were clean, modern and new however would not be coming back here again due to a few reasons. breakfast was a 2.5/5 - there was very little selection, literally a small salad bar, egg station and 3-4 other dishes. The food was very bland and staff were slow to add more. Food more catered to Asian customers such as Japanese and Korean tourists. There was another breakfast area specifically for large tour groups, when I asked the staff if I could get food from there (as when I had a peak over the food looked nicer) she explained to me that it was for loud guests. After leaving she proceeded to roll her eyes at me and talk about me just because I asked if I could grab food from the other room??. Anyways therefore don’t recommend booking with breakfast, there are more variety and delicious breakfast options at the malls and streets. After the first day, my family did not go to breakfast again. I am not saying the food was uneatable, but it lacked variety and flavour. I literally witnessed two customers sitting across me spit out their food and left the room. For customer service I’ll give a 3/5 - besides the little incident at breakfast, the staff at lobby were friendly however English was not perfect but communicable. Location - 3/5 : considered far from the main cbd, must take bts. Walk to bts is approx.10mins. The hotel is suited and tucked away at the back and not close to the main road. There is currently construction works going on in front of the hotel which can be inconvenient for taxis.
