A romantic getaway

Researched extensively on Agoda and found Bandara Resort to have the best overall reviews. Not letdown at all by the rave reviews. Check in was pleasant, comfortable and efficient. The receptionist personally walked us to our pool villa. The villa was as good as it looked in the photos. Great design and privacy. The only problem was low water pressure, it being a single storey stand alone building. The grounds was very well designed & up-kept. The swimming pools were varied in design with plenty of room for everybody. The staff were very well mannered with a pleasant Sawadeeka for everyone. Breakfast was about the best we had come across, dinner was quite good too and not too exorbitant. Bo Phut Walking street was just a 5 minutes stroll along the beach. There you can find various types of restaurants and bars. Right across the street, you can conveniently find Family Mart & cheap massage joints.

Great hotel on a great beach
