Phuket Pavilions private pool paradise

I went to Phuket Pavilions knowing that it wasn't on the beach - it's a couple of kms away but with a fantastic full size totally private pool high up on a hill overlooking the ocean, 180 degree views which you never tire of. There is a shuttle service to the beach and to Phuket Laguna village but if you want to eat out at night you'll need to pay for transport. Exemplary service - we arrived at 9.30am and were offered complimentary breakfast whilst waiting for our room. Lovely restaurant staff introduced us to several exotic tropical fruits. We stayed here and then had a few nights at Twin Palms, Surin Beach to be nearer to the beach and the action.
