Near the airport and beach but noisy
One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed. The internet never worked in the room, had to use the lobby to get a signal. I heard many others complain about the lack of internet. The air conditioner makes a horrible buzzing noise and the traffic on the main road is all heard inside the room. If you decide to stay in the hotel part bring earplugs. There isn't much in the area for entertainment. There is another resort almost next-door that has decent food unlike the Punnpreeda Beach Resort. When we tried to have dinner in the hotel at 9:10 they told us it was late and they close at 9:30. They sullen waitress threw the opened menu on the table and expected us to just pick any food item. We got up and left and never ate there. Breakfast was very good but they start the service at 7:30. It's not good for those who have an early morning flight. The resort does have an airport service but they charge 400 baht for a short ride. Most taxis charge about 200 baht for the same ride.
