Private and amazing stay
We chose Wings Phuket Villa as our preferred stay for our honeymoon as the pictures look so inviting. It took us 20-30 minutes to reach the villa from Phuket International Airport as the driver had difficulty locating it. The moment we saw our villa, we knew we were going to find it hard leaving the place at the end of our 4th day. Our 4D3N getaway went by too fast! It was clean and tidy and had sufficient space for the 2 of us, it wasn't too big nor too small. It was our luck that the monsoon season only began on our 4th day in Phuket so we had plenty of time to enjoy the private pool and outdoor lounge chairs. There is a high-speed wifi connection which was fuss-free to connect our multiple devices to. The downside to this stay is the location as most of the drivers are not familiar with it and it is situated behind several houses (no view of the sea, just walls surrounding the villa) and off the main road, there is a sign which says "WINGS" but it is hidden behind some plants by the roadside. Another thing that can be improved is the breakfast and also, dinner is hard to find if you choose to stay in the villa as they don't take anymore room service orders from 5pm (Phuket time) onwards. We would recommend this villa to private honeymooners. It would be best if you rent a car to travel around the island (about 1000 baht/day) instead of commuting via taxi at about 800 baht/single trip - which is really expensive! Try out the island hopping packages that the villa offers, as well as a massage in the comfort of your own villa. We loved our stay here!
