Good but possibly not for everyone!
Fantastic location and good value for money for the 'Home of the Original Pool Party'. Less than 10 min walk to Haad Rin beach and right on the sunset beach. Clean pool and lots of space to chill, either in the bar, restaurant or poolside. The pool party was a bit tame when we were there (due to alcohol restriction on a Buddhist holiday) but wouldn't have been bothersome from a noise and sleep point of view, as the bungalows are set back from the pool. Staff were helpful enough and very inoffensive - not sure quite how some reviewers had a bad experience with them! The main drawback to the place is the bungalow rooms themselves - pretty poor efforts have been made to keep them clean, stained bedsheets, walls in need of painting. I can only speak for the fan room but it got pretty hot and sticky two of the nights. Fortunately the windows/mozzie mesh were effective at keeping insects out. Also the bathroom was decent enough. Overall I'd stay again!
