All round excellent hotel, with great restaurants
The room was a good size, clean, and nicely decorated. Our room had wireless which worked well, a reasonably priced mini-bar, no bathtub for people travelling with young kids and a large balcony overlooking the pool which we enjoyed using.
The attention to detail is apparent in the amenities, with items such as sun hats, flip-flops and a beach bag for your use at the pool or the beach. The landscaping around the hotel is also pretty impressive and well maintained.
The two pool areas were great and we found different parts of each in the shade during the course of the day which was good for swimming with young kids. The beach was small and private and also had a number of loungers on it as well. The sand itself was not great but the setting made up for it.
The hotel also offered a Kids room run by two members of staff who would look after the kids during the day. The facility was well stocked with toys and the ladies who ran it were very good with the kids. This facility was provided at no extra cost.
The two restaurants were excellent. The Bistro was comfortable with views of the larger pool whilst The Dining Room had fantastic views of the ocean. The menus had plenty of choice and the food was always excellent. We spent a week at the resort and the restaurants had a number of different events whilst we were there such as barbeque, lobster and tapas nights.
