Nice stay for few days

Its a nice resort but nothing special, I expected a bit more... We stayed in deluxe villa which is an old type of villa (bungalow) and its not beach from but 3rd row (wasnt aware of that at time of vooking but i must say new villas aka bungalows did look much better on outside). The bubgalow is old, mosquito net had lots of holes, AC only works with key inside so forget about coming home to nice cold place...the towels they have are really old, horrible brown color and look just awful to use. Also our villa was full of cracks so we had mosquitos and other animals inside. The brakfast is average, with very limited/basic choices, i didnt really like anything, no eggs choice but what they make that day (scrambelled the whole time we were there). The stuff is nice though, they do try to help with everything. The resort has a nice beach position at the end of long beach, also a lot of natural shade if you prefer that. Also dive centre and massage on the spot. Ther is lots of bars and restaurant on both sides of hotel so plenty didning/drinking options, no need to stay in hotels restaurant (which is not bad but not cheap either). We rented a scooter from them and they gave us some scooter that they own and it ended up with a flat tyre that was obviously leaking as it went flat the first stop we did so our whole day was ruined as we needed to wait from them to come pick us up (took them 2 hours). No apology or alternative was offered, only after we complained they gave back 100 baht (the rent was 250) which i still dont get it but ok. I expected to be offered a full refund or an alternative option for free. I was very dissapointed with that and i do think it should have been handled differently as we lost our whole day, was potentially dangerous (they shouldnt rent out such a scooter anyways) and we spent the 100 baht they returned anyways on the phone trying to call them to come pick us up. All together I dont think I would stay again.
